Arkaba Cellars Trophy for Best Sauvignon Blanc in Show
The 2020 Riposte ‘The Foil’ Sauvignon Blanc has been awarded a Gold Medal in Class 11 and the ‘Arkaba Cellars’ Trophy for Best Sauvignon Blanc at the 2020 Royal Adelaide Wine Show.
Winemaker Tim Knappstein said, “2020 was an exceptional year for quality. I believe the grapes from the Adelaide Hills region were some of the best ever. It was a tragedy that so much wonderful fruit was lost to fire damage. We were fortunate that our growers were largely unaffected, and it has been possible to produce this wine and share it with our consumers. This Sauvignon Blanc is a fine example of what the Adelaide Hills has to offer.”
